Important SUMMER INFO:

Summer has become known as a time for dancers to TREMENDOUSLY improve their flexibility, technique and skill level.  I have found dancers can make the most improvement during the summer.  It is a great way to keep children active and physically and mentally stimulated while school is out.  This has been a huge advantage to On Stage students in becoming more advanced, by taking summer we prepare during summer so we may jump right in to new and different skills in fall as opposed to reviewing and getting dancers back to where they were before summer.  Also, remember that taking during the summer ensures that your dancer will be guaranteed a spot for fall!  Those who decide to take summer off will be put on a waiting list for fall.  We do offer pro-rating for summer as well so you can enjoy your vacations.  (you pay per class, as long as it is done prior to the 1^st of the upcoming month) and maintain your spot.

On Stage Staff will be attending numerous Professional conventions, Master Classes, and traveling to NYC to attend a Professional Teachers workshop and to take master classes from the Dance Industries BEST!  Our priority is to bring On Stage only the best in quality and instruction.  In order to provide the best instruction we as instructors must take time to continue to educate ourselves.

Auditions and Placement will be AUG 17^th and 18^th for

ALL COMPANIES AND ELITE TEAMS in Cedar and Aug 19^th in St.George!

 

*Those dancers interested in auditioning will need to be enrolled in jazz, ballet and Company prep for all Companies.  They will be learning a ballet, jazz, and Company piece in their classes for auditions.  For more info on Companies or Teams please email heather@onstagedancestudio.com 

Also dancers will be evaluated and put in the appropriate ballet and jazz class and we will continue to watch progress in the case the dancer needs to be moved to a more appropriate class.  This is to ensure that all dancers are pushed and challenged to be their best of their abilities and have the greatest potential for progression.

On Stage welcomes any feedback from you to continue to ensure your dancer is getting the BEST!  Please email us with any ideas you may have so that we may provide you the best education for your child.  We already have so many new ideas for all the classes to really improve the studio to an even higher level than we are at.

I want to thank all of you for the great opportunity you give me and the other instructors to push your children and really give them a well-rounded dance education.  I am very proud of our dancers and the huge accomplishments they all make each day.  I have received so many compliments from Salt Lake studio directors and College Dance Faculty about they amazing technical dancers we provide to all the high school dance teams, cheer squads, and college dance groups.  So get ready for MORE, if you thought your dancers improved this year you haven’t seen ANYTHING YET!

SUU Gymnastics Meet Performance!

On Stage Mini Company will be performing at a SUU gymnastics meet on Jan 22nd, all dancers will get in for free.  Performance will be at approx. 8:45, so all dancers will need to be there by 8p by elevators over the tunnel dressed in lyrical costume with warmups on top, hair like recital with required On Stage make up and lipstick. (if you need to purchase lipstick please see Heather or Erika)

CV Craft Fair Performance for Cedar Companies!

Cedar Companies and Elite teams will be performing at the CV Craft Fair on Friday, Nov 20th from 5:30 to 6:30, dancers will need to be there at 4:45.  Details TBA

‘Dance for the Cure’ Elite Performance!

Elite team will be performing at ‘Dance for the Cure’ at SCHS on Oct 26th, the performance will be at 6pm and then we will drive over to Thriller preshow.  All Elite members will meet at Tuachan at 5pm dressed and ready to go to rehearse for preshow then we will go to SCHS for Dance for the Cure performance.

Odyssey’s Thriller!

Odyssey’s Thriller Halloween is a must see!  On Stage and 2 One Productions will be the exclusive Preshow each night for the Thriller show at Tuachan.  Elite teams will be performing at the Preshow each night the week of Oct 26th through Oct 30th at 6:30 to 7:15 prior to 7:30 Thriller show.  **Also they will be auditioning for dancers for the show, please go to www.odysseydance.com for audition info.

Labor Day Parade!

The Elite team will be dancing in the parade on Sept 7th in Parowan, they will need to be there at 9:00 am stretched, dressed with light make up and ready to rehearse.  All dancer helpers need to be there at 9:15 dressed, light makeup and ready to go.  All girls should be in tank (can wear black leo under), skirt with black booty shorts under, and black shoes provided.  Hair should be bangs in bump and two low messy buns.  All girls will need to bring clothes to change into to give Heather back tank, skirts and shoes.  Please remember to eat and hydrate yourself well so you may have a good “dance” down the parade route.  See you there
